| I cant say that I'm not a little sad. I went to jury duty, and got called on the very first court panel. So while there, they went through a bunch of people and finally at 3 the dismissed a bunch and were calling the last 3, and YES i was one of them. So anyways, this case was about real estate commissions and one thought the other paid and what not... anyways... they released some more people and I was announced as the LAST alternate! But thats not why i'm sad, and this point, the two lawyers are allowed to ask either or both of the alternates to leave, and the plaintiffs attorny said... "Mr. La, we thank you, but you are dismissed" I was like... WHY?!?!?! I didnt say anything like those other fakers about how i hate lawyer, (the defendant was a lawyer) or how I was taken by some real estate agent or anything like that... so yeah, my first jury duty experience was a success/failure. I kinda actually wanted to be on a jury. but anyways, as i drove home, i was trying to figure out why i was dismissed, the only thing i could think of was maybe i gave his client (the plaintiff) a funny/dirty look... which i DID! He looks like a scoundrel.. but then again... so did the defendant... thats all!

| I got my renewal notice for the 2008-2009 LA Kings season tickets today! Why is that exciting? Because... first off... prices went down! whoo hoo!!! Probably because the Kings did so poorly last year... Second, I get a free JERSEY for renewing!!!! and third... it means that the season is coming up again... ok fine... maybe not until September, but the draft party is coming....

I'm feeling stalked! =) It's not like I ever update this thing... and my past entries have never been too entertaining... so what are you looking at? haha

| some of you might be wondering why i'm up at 12:56am typing a blog, when i have to wake up in about 4 hours and 15 minutes... its because.... here's the story. So I get a text message asking me to play volleyball tonight because some friends need a sub... so I say sure why not?!?! We play the first one... and win... and as we are waiting for the next game... I get a phone call... my close friend from hs who works for KIIS FM calls, and asks if I want to go to the Justin Timberlake concert... I say SURE!!! and swoop by to pick up my friend Christina who has been dying to see this concert... we go... see an AWESOME concert for free... row 12 mind you... what a spontaneous night!!! TERRIFIC... bed time! |
